I was told by a friend that I should apply at a cell phone store, because the money and commission would be way better than what I get now (8.50/hr at petsmart). I have some sales experience--I worked with my father's auction company, I coordinated private summer school classes (advertised, planned them, and dealt with people who bought them) and though it isn't sales, I've worked in an ER with patient relations. I'm a pre-med college student. My questions: What's it like working in cell phone retail, do you think I have a decent sales history, and what is the interview like?
